Everyone at Cheezburger HQ would like to thank you all for your feedback regarding the new Cheezburger. We’ve compiled all of your messages about these changes, and one of the many things we’ve learned is that you all would appreciate more communication from us about upcoming changes and features.
We’ll post announcements about future changes and new features here on the blog. We’re also spending extra time reading our user feedback and ideas forum, so if you have any new suggestions or would like to vote or comment on an existing idea let us know here.

This blog sounds very supportive of us but it also sounds like it is speaking of the future. I think what most of us who are concerned want to know is what is happening with the promises Ben made. Can they be made and it is taking time, or have they had to be shelved because they were too difficult to implement? Is there a proposed deadline or is that impossible?
Any feedback on these issues would be better than the silence. Thank you.

Why am I visualizing a “Yo dawg, we heard you like…” lol as I’m reading this?
Perhaps it’s because in this blog post acknowledging that the cheezpeeps want more information and communications from ICHC you managed to not actually give any information or communicate anything beyond that acknowledgment? :epic facepalm:

One of the things you need to ask yourself is why there are so little comments to the posts in this blog? Is it irrelevant to most readers? Or maybe posted but never passed moderation? Either way it does not look right in a site that people have so much to say about anything.
I want to hear what you have to say about in-site commenting, voting and the general unpleasantness that all those changes causing to your faithful community.
Is it possible to leave the Lolcats site as it is, whatever changes are thought necessary to the other sites? Many of us are happy with it and do not want to change – it feels as if we were given what we had been asking for only to have it about to be snatched away.
Perhaps this isn’t the correct forum for my comment but….here goes. On occasion, you post videos of animals that may, indeed, be amusing to folks but, in fact, are treading a fine line between entertainment and abuse of the animal.
In addition, one meme in particular, that of the The Wolf, manages to perpetuate a negative image of what is actually a remarkable and rare creature. Wolves are social animals who develop deep and lasting bonds with their siblings and offspring. Male wolves, other than the alpha are actually the designated ‘baby sitters” for all of the young whilst living in the family pack.
The perpetuation of a ‘scarey image’ of wolves only plays into the cruel and inhumane hunting that is being allowed in several of the United States as well as other locales. Other countries; Sweden for example, protect wolves and show high regard for their intelligence and wish to be allowed to live without being hunted or harmed.
Please direct more attention to your own postings as well as a bit of discretion regarding those sent to you. Appreciation of the wacky and loveable animals, all animals is such a valuable effort on your part and it would be best if your efforts were a bit more select.
FWIW, I didn’t even know there was a blog til I start surfing around. All I can say is BRING BACK VOTING!!!! What is the big deal and why was it taken away????
Always remember that communication is key. Even if it’s to say that you’re working the bugs out of the code, regular updates let us know the site hasn’t been abandoned.
So glad to see the “recaption” and “repost”ur LOL back again – thanks! I left comments on the individual blogs for those features with some recommendations. I think one other feature that many of us would like to see back is the “See all the captions” made from an LOL. I believe u said it too was coming back – just want to confirm that. Of all the features, I miss that one the most because it prevented me from inadvertantly making a copy cat LOL. Some pics just beg for a certain take on it and it is very likely that another peep had already thought of the same caption idea. My ideal would be if that feature could also be made available for the pics u post for capationing. But that may not be technically possible. When we did have this feature I would use the builder to upload a pic, uncheck the post to voting, create an uncaptioned LOL so I could see all the captions, then create my own LOL and delete the uncaptioned LOL. A lot of steps to take.

Would like to see the old option to send a URL of just one LOLz
to ONE person via e-mail.
Ohai, Cheezburgers! There was a time when the possibility of seeing all the LoLs made from a picture when viewing a LoL was available as a “button” below the LoL. Now I seem to only find that feature when I am viewing LoLs in the voting pages. It would be a good feature to have on the front pages too. Thanks.
Ohai again. I just realized that I’d actually like to have the “view other LoLs” feature available when viewing any LoL. Some pictures are used for LoLs that never make it to the voting page and front page. Thanks.
Ohai! I am noticing that I cannot get to the voting pages without going back to the old cheezburger. Is this something that will be fixed? I would really really miss the voting pages! Thanks.
Double what Rainbowmaus said about voting on Beta (not) and having to go back to old ichc to vote.
And truly, I don’t see a whole of LOLz go from the voting page to the FP. Why is that?
AND sometimes I wonder if the moderators like cats at all ~ just saying.

Ohai, back again with a comment. It would be absolutely fantastic if I could see who created a lol that comes across my dashboard without having to click on it or open it in another tab. Stuff gets faved by my friends and I would love to be able to see right away who made it! Yes, there is a note that says a peep just created a new lol, but I don’t always see that without going back several pages, and I wouldn’t see that note if the lol was created by someone I am not friends with. Pretty please? With cheez on top of the burger?
