The new Cheezburger is testing out a different method for you to navigate through featured content! Infinite scroll is now available on all Cheezburger beta sites viewed from Firefox, Safari, and Chrome desktop browsers.
Infinite scroll allows you to view as much content as you’d like without having to click a “previous” or “next” button at the bottom of each page. Now, rather than having to move your mouse to click a button, more content automatically loads as you scroll your way down the page — making it easier for you to engage with the content.

Update on Infinite Scroll: We have been noticing a few glitches with this release. 1. We have noticed duplicate posts when scrolling. 2. We have noticed that the ads sometimes disappear when scrolling. We are in the process of resolving these quirks. dissapearing ads is not an “issue”, just let it be
also: i didn’t tested the infinite scroll on desktop, however on mobile the biggest issue is the more you scroll, the worse it scrolls. that’s probably because the site doesn’t unload previous content from memory, so the page gets really huge. it would be wonderful if this “issue” is fixed (though i’m not sure if this is the reason for slowing down after too much scrolling).
Since I have IE I don’t have it yet. Understand Jason’s concern – unless u leave the puter on and at the LOL you stopped viewing, faving, voting, next time u come on u have to scrolls down to try and figure where u were at. It will be very cool in one way not to have to switch pages, but on the other I do actually miss the old pre-Beta page numbering system a little bit. One reason is that I like to supprt my frens if they have something up for voting and I’ve had frens tell me they have an LOL up on Pg __ so I could reaonably quickly make my way there and vote for it. But if the old way, where votes made on the profile counted towards total vote count IF an LOLwas already up for voting, then I just have to find it in their profile.
I like this idea!
Interesting idea but… You know that little piece at the bottom of the other pages? The links to all the OTHER cheezburger sites? How am I supposed to get to them?
Please leave infinite scroll turned off.
Sure, this “infinite scroll” is cool… for the first couple pages it goes through, but after that, it makes everything run slow. One time, it even froze my laptop by making it run so slowly.
I’m not impressed and would much rather have the page numbers at the bottom. That way I can change pages and not wait fifteen minutes for them to load.
And refreshing the page sucks. You can’t do anything else on your laptop–at least, on mine–until it’s done refreshing because everything is at snail pace. Please fix this, because it makes me not want to be on the site [any of them] any longer. I do not like it when the internet runs slow, and will stay away from the sites for long periods of time, hoping the problem will be corrected. But now that I realize it’s not a “problem” but a “new and better thing” I’m disappointed.
Please make an option for those who want Infinite Scroll/Page numbers [previous, next, etc]. It’ll just save a whole lot of trouble.
