Not happy. So how do I go back several days to look at older lolz? Keeping going down, down, down, down, down, down, down, down, down…….? Much easier to hit next to get a page number in the url box and then change the page number.
I’m happy. Infinite scroll is a controversial feature on this site. Some people like it, others hate it.
Thanks for the infinite scroll, but it’s not on my IPhone.
Slow, lags like crap on my computer, cant send page inks to friends, uses alot of bandwidth on my phone. this is yet another downgrade cheezburger.

Ugh, I was fine with the re-vamp but I can’t stand infinite scrolling, it’s annoying and doesn’t really save time if you have to scroll for a stupid amount of time to get to older stuff.
This, it eats up bandwith and makes it hard to see anything but the first page or so’s LOLs….

No other Safari windows are open, and no other apps are ever able to beat Safari in CPU time after I hit page 6 (even *gasp* Photoshop!) Also, it happens to be sucking almost half a gigabyte of RAM.

Heather, sure would appreciate an answer to the question I asked in the first post…how do I go back several days without scrolling down and down and down? It takes too long with infinite scrolling. Plus living in the country, no DSL or cable, my internet connection isn’t very fast so infinite scrolling is painfully slow loading pictures.

The best way to skip back multiple days is to manually change the page in the url located in your browser’s address bar. That way you don’t have to keep scrolling, you’ll instantly skip back a bunch of days and you can browse from there.

Infinite scroll is awful. It’s slow, it’s clunky. My computer isn’t old and I can barely use your sites now on any browser.
Not everyone goes on your site every day, trying to catch up on a weeks worth of stuff is impossible now.
Please please please make it optional. Please take a leaf out of Tumblr’s book and make it optional
Fking hate infinite scroll!!!!!! It jumps up and down and I have to find where I was. It is SO inconvenient for me. I really want the option to change back to the old way.
Also, what if I want to see one I liked a few days earlier? I can’t just go and search the old page numbers, i have to load a billion scrolls.. Wtf Cheezburger? Y U NO let me have it my way?
My unscientific impression is that infinite scrolling does feel slower. It works fine for keeping up to date, but it’s no good for scanning the archives.
I notice that clicking on the page adds an anchor to the URL, is this intentional? I often click on the page to see whether the browser is really focused. I need it to be focused because the scroll bar scrolls too far because of the header, but page up and page down don’t have that problem. (I don’t use J (and K) because they conflict with the automatic find as you type setting that I use.)
Eeek! For some reason infinite scroll stopped working when I was on page three of Rage Comics, so I hit Reload and the browser started loading from page three, but then it wanted to scroll down to where I had been, and I ended up on page seven
Here’s the cure for infinite scroll – use Internet Explorer.

Absolutely NOT a fan of infinite scroll. Really wish there was a way to disable it. The page is always jumping around on me while trying to load pictures so I never know where I left off or started. I only have time once a week or so to stop through the sites, so takes forever to know where I left off too.. Dislike x infinity(scroll)
I hate the infinite scroll! But if you have Firefox with NoScript, just select “Forbid scripts globally” and voilà ! No more infinite scroll! Please do away with the infinite scroll!
My browser crashed on page 7 of rage comics (not your fault). But Infinite Scroll thought I was on page 8, so that’s what my browser restored. And of course there’s no way to go just one page back…
I do not like infinite scroll… jumpy and I cannot just pick a page and go to it. DIE INFINITE SCROLL! DIE!!! Uh… Ahem… did I say that out loud? I meant “Pbthththtt”.

I totally HATE infinite scroll, it makes my computer slower. Can you make it optional? I just don’t like it.
Infinite Scroll counts pages incorrectly. If you manually go to a page, then that skips 7 LOLs per page, so for instance the 50th LOL appears on page 8. But if you Infinite Scroll then it increments the page number every 6 LOLs (except the first), so that the 50th LOL ends up on page 9…
This infinite scroll is awful and whoever decided on it should be fired. The home page is already a complete circus with the endless, obnoxious ads. Now my cursor finger and eyeballs on complete overload. And I’m dizzy.
The infinite scroll is really slow and it’s hard to scroll down to the page without it flipping out and taking you back up 5 pages. Is there a way to turn it off? If not, could you PLEASE consider making that an option?
kill it kill it with fire!!! Please giuve us an option to disable this!!! I have to turn Javascript off on all connected cheezburger sites until you do so I can’t vote nor add to favourites. not a happy cat at all.
I actually really enjoy the Infinite Scroll, but it has been disabled. Have I disabled any of my extensions?
